Top-5 Most Exciting Cars

#1. Lamborghini Asterion Concept

The Lamborghini Asterion Concept remains speculative - it is only a concept at this point. Lamborghini has built the car, but the company has not yet announced any concrete plans for the Asterion Concept to make it to factory production. The Lamborghini Asterion Concept debuted at the 2014 Paris Motor Show. And it made a success for several innovations never before seen in a vehicle made by Lamborghini.

The biggest development of all was the Lamborghini Asterion Concept’s inclusion of an electric motor that serves as power booster, starter, and generator. The Asterion utilizes a lithium-ion battery pack. At the same time it still features a 602-hp 5.2-liter V-10 producing 413 lb-ft of torque, with a even-speed dual-clutch transmission, giving the car speed and power.

The shape of the car was a major departure - looking like something more reminiscent of the car’s 1970’s-era GT models.

#5. Bugatti Chiron Concept

Bugatti Chiron comes with an expected release date sometime in 2017. It is the successor to the Bugatti Veyron, which currently holds performance record around. Details on the Chiron are vague, since Bugatti wants to keep the project under wraps as much as possible.

Early details place the car’s top speed somewhere around 288 miles per hour, which would make it by far the fastest production car ever. The Chiron is expected to feature an 8-liter W-16 engine with direct injection, increased boost pressure, and at least two electrically powered turbochargers.

Other features are likely to include a seven-speed, dual-clutch automatic transmission, with four-wheel drive and added torque vectoring.
